A jolly yellow Treasury this morning. It's very cold here today and the photos from Champagne are coming along nicely.

Back from away and five Treasuries

I'm back from a hectic weekend in Champagne, we visited four champagne houses, tasted about 35 different Champagnes ate tons and took about 600 pictures. I'll be sifting through those later....

In the meantime, here are five lovely Treasuries I found myself in when I arrived back at my iMac.

I wish....

A great Treasury appearance for my little snail shell, all of the people featured are members of the Photographer's of Etsy Team - great stuff everyone!

Permanent Vacation
by Beth Peardon Prods

Mind you, I can't really complain about lack of holidays, I've got three lined up with the first starting tomorrow when we drive to London and spend the day with my father, supper out in the evening, overnight at dull utilitarian hotel and then a crack of dawn (7.00) coach from Victoria to the ferry at Dover then to Calais (fingers crossed for a smooth crossing please). Then it's a long coach drive to Reims in the heart of the Chamapagne where we will proceed to sniff, swirl, taste and sip the sparkly delight for the next two days. We go to a variety of Chamapagne houses from the big and glam (Tattinger) to the small and bijoux (Hattie). Can't wait - I've even got a new frock for the evenings!

New colourful Treasury from my Inter Alia persona today, I think it's rather lovely:

More fun and games with Photobox

I've had some card designs on Greetings by Photobox for some time now and don't seem to have made any sales so far. I've been waiting for their designer's admin area to appear and it has finally done so. I logged in and clicked the appropriate link and ended up seeing someone elses details, there wasn't much to look at, so I hope he doesn't mind if he ever finds out! It seems rather odd as I'm their so called Featured Artist on the front page, which is of course nice, but when you click on the link there's nothing of any use, it doesn't lead to my card designs at all, so it's all rather pointless. I spoke to support and the guy was useless and said he'd pass the issue onto his manager who would phone me back. They promised this when I had another reason to call and I never heard from them.....so I'll wait. In the meantime, I logged out and in again and clicked on another link and was directed to fill in my Gallery details, which I did as I was interested to see what happened. I followed this through and even designed a card with their new web based process. When I had saved the card I clicked on my name link and found that I now have two galleries, one with all of my original cards and the newly set up one with the single card. What a mess - I really hope they can sort it out.

It feels just like this here.....

Another lovely Treausy by Pugs in Space with a first time appearance for Cathedral Wall which I shot at the stunning Canterbury Cathedral earlier in the year.

Creamy, chocolaty browness

A great brown Treasury appearance this morning, the curator very kindly sent me a message to say that I was featured. I always find it odd that such a thoughtful service could be thought of as spam.

On the Rails

I've made some new prints today from some pictures I took at the beginning of the year as I traveled on the train from Manchester to London. I've always had a bit of a thing about taking photos from moving windows. I've softened them, brightened them and desaturated a bit also changed the split toning. Quite a lot of work really and rather a different approach for me.

And another outing for Blue Wall in Blue Door in a defiantly summery selection:
Screw the Fall

Business on Etsy has certainly picked up after the fallow months since July, I'd like to think that it's because of the two ads I've placed on Majaba, one for each shop for two weeks each. It only cost $48 for both. They started on Friday and I've sold three $35 prints and a set of posters and a digital download since then. I really hope it's because of the ads. I've had many more looks and hearts which could possibly have something to do with my new Premium Portfolio on Trunkt.

Let's hope it continues!

Waiting, waiting

I'm hanging on for the last couple of Treasuries to expire before I hit 'paste' with the title for my latest collection. I've had it made up and ready to go for ages, but for some reason, I've been off with my timing, but I'm determined to get in on show this time.
