Waiting, waiting

I'm hanging on for the last couple of Treasuries to expire before I hit 'paste' with the title for my latest collection. I've had it made up and ready to go for ages, but for some reason, I've been off with my timing, but I'm determined to get in on show this time.

Inter Alia's Second Treasury

I've had a tasty little Poster Sketch lined up and waiting for days now, but all the expirations seem to be going on while I'm tucked up in bed, which is always a bit irritating. But, I was in the forums and saw a thread header saying that Treasury West was opening, so I popped over to have a look and it was right down at 222 - how lucky was that! Anyway, my slot popped up in a minute or two and I whacked in my Treasury's name and then realised that I was logged in as the wrong shop. So I just had to explain in the first comment....never mind, it still looks yummy.

Lots of Treasuries

I made a Treasury today featuring members of the Photographers of Etsy Streeteam who are based in the UK and as there aren't too many of us, I also used pictures taken by POE members in the UK.

The Waiting is Over

I've never had to wait for so long for a Treasury.....I think I've been unlucky and they've all been expiring in the middle of the night. Anyway, I've loitered with the window open all day and finally got my first one as Inter Alia and it's a great selection of sewing machines, ephemera bags and paper tags. I think it's a bit unusual.

Brilliant Timing!

I've decided to spend a bit of time on my Eyeshoot shop today and started off by checking the Treasury list, as the page opened I saw to my amusement that there were exactly 333 lists. This threw me into a wee panic as I didn't have a selection planned or even a title, so I hurredly typed and saved the rather lame title of Red, Blue and Green and then whacked it in the little box when it finally turned up. Not exactly the ideal way of creating a Treasury, but I got to it quick smart with the help of the Colour Tool and have made a pretty good job of it. I don't usually go for the big and bold colours, but it's been so dull here that I thought that a nice injection of bright would be a good thing!

Here it is:

I've also decided to upgrade my Trunkt Portfolio as $99 forever isn't exactly a massive amount of money, I'll make it back if I get just a handful of sales. But I can't get the payment to go through and it's really irritating me.....I'll try again later. If I don't loose interest and change my mind.

I had an email from Greetings at Photobox saying that my card designs are live on site, but I don't see any sign of them so far. Irritating. I hope they show up soon.

By the Seaside - My Third Treasury

After posting about the gloriously fragrant rain last night, my mind has turned to summer and the seaside and I'm finally able to show off my latest Treasury, which is called By the Seaside. I've been working at home for the last few days and many, many pictures have remained secretly invisible to me on Etsy, rather irritatingly that includes my own Treasury which I had to put together blind....

Anyway, I'm back at my old PC at my former office where I can view every single beautiful Seaside picture and I've laboriously stitched two screenshots together in CS2 to bring you:

Birthday Treasury

It's my birthday today and I've done absolutely nothing interesting at all. My one treat was a visit to my local organic, vegan co-op to stock up on spices. I really do remember when birthdays were different to every other day.

But, I've been in two beautiful Treasuries today which has cheered me up no end! The Ministry of Silly Walks seems to be really popular with curators, it's popped up over and over again which is great!

Made it to the Front Page - well done!!

I've also made my second Treasury today, it's a beautiful collection of pale anti-summer colours!

Monday Treasuries, mine and others

I made my first ever Treasury today, it's called Fonts Letters Numbers and as you can imagine is made up of fonts, letter and numbers. It was actually quite hard to find the images I wanted and wasn't sure if it was being viewed live as I was putting it together as I hadn't planned it in advance. Anyway, it's up and running and has even had a couple of comments so far!

Here it is:
(Click here to go straight to it's page over at Etsy.)

Not only is my own on show for a few days, some more of my pieces have featured as well - it's getting busy over there,

First is the very nice 'Street' by Jenglo which features The Ministry of Silly Walks on the third row down in the middle:
(Click here to go directly to it)

Secondly, Summer Breezes by tmStudioDesigns featuring Blue Bicycle, Wall and Door in the centre of the top line:

It's interesting to see which images of mine other Etsians select for their Treasuries, there's a definate few favourites and I love seeing that little gold or grey star in the lists!

Thanks to everyone who's featured my work, I really appreciate it!
